What’s the BIG IDEA?
We treat all the kennels in the US like bins in warehouses in a distribution network. If one bin is overflowing or has the wrong widget, we would ship it to another warehouse for distribution. But our bins are kennels and our widgets…are dogs! AI helps us connect Shelters, Rescues, Transporters, Funding Sources, and other partners to reduce euthanasia!
Ending Euthanasia
What We Do
Pet Shelters and Rescues are staffed with wonderful people trying to do good. Many are burdened with the task of putting down happy healthy pets for various reasons. We want to help stop unnecessary euthanasia of these pets.
Database of Kennels and Dogs
Each kennel hosting a pet is identified. Then the occupant is identified by key characteristics – breed, age, size health, etc. Each “stay” is tracked so those pets at risk based on length of stay are also identified
AI-Supported Support Organization Connection and Redistribution
Artificial Intelligence identifies what pets are at most risk and connects them with those that can help them – other shelters with excess capacity, transporters to get them there, and rescues that can help find fosters and adopters!
